    Vertigo's Bay of Fires Adventure from Derby

    Vertigo’s ultimate full day adventure, the Bay of Fires trail, will leave you speechless as you’re transported from the dense Blue Tier rainforest to the stunning Bay of Fires on Tasmania’s Eastern Coastline.

    After conquering the 42km trail, relax and unwind at our private shack with complimentary lunch and a swim in the crystal clear ocean below.

    Recommendation: Hire a Levo SL e-bike for this trail.

    Vertigo's Blue Tier + Atlas Day

    Vertigo’s iconic all day Blue Derby MTB adventure! Ride the stunning Blue Tier trail in the morning, refuel with lunch at the historic Weldborough Pub, then continue on to ride back to Derby following the technical Atlas trail in the afternoon. Trail options to finish include Dam Busters, Black Dragon, Krushkas or Trouty.

    For 2024/25 the Blue Tier trail has received a full top to bottom refurbishment. It’s a must ride trail.

    Vertigo’s First 13+ from Derby

    Experience the ultimate flow with the Bay of Fires first 13km descent. Beginning at the top of the stunning Blue Tier, the Iconic Bay of Fires trail starts off with a bang as it flows through dense rainforest. This fast and poppy trail will have you screaming for more.

    And the best part is, you get to do the greatest section of this trail twice!!!*

    Black Stump
    Multi Shuttle

    Our Black Stump packages provide you with the ultimate Blue Derby experience. We shuttle you to the highest vehicle access point within the Blue Derby trail network, where you can choose your descending style with a huge variety of intermediate to advanced trail options. 

    • Morning departures: 9:30, 10:30, (11:00), 11:30.
      Note: 11:00am bonus shuttle available if time permits
    • Afternoon departures: 1:30, 2:30, (3:00), 3:30.
      Note: 3pm shuttle available if time permits
    • Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
    • Uplift shuttles: 3 (+1 bonus Air-Ya-Garn )

    Derby’s newest trail sensation is awesome for all levels of rider. It’s the perfect introductory green rated shuttle experience!

    With a descent of super fun and flow, ideal for beginner and novice riders ..and the kids, this should make for awesome MTB fun times!

    Branxholm Shuttle

    The perfect shuttle for your mountain biking debut. We shuttle you to Branxholm so you can ride the easy flowing Valley Ponds trail all the way back to Derby.

    • Ride: 9km
    • Fitness: Moderate
    • Skill Level: Beginner to Novice
    • Departs: Derby
    If you're in Derby for mountain biking these guys have got you sorted! We did Blue Tier+Atlas, local Black Stump and Bay of Fires shuttles. Great staff and service. All were very knowledgeable when it came to the trails. Will definitely be using them next time we come back to Tassie!
