Hide Starting at 9am, our shuttle will deliver you to the top of the Blue Tier where the action begins. The orange posts will guide you along the insanely fun flow that is the first 13km of the Bay of Fires trail. Expect tight and fast lines to begin followed by an all-time flowing descent where wide berms are the stand out feature. Once you reach the conclusion of the first 13km of the Bay of Fires trail, our shuttle will be there waiting to take you back up to the second section so you can enjoy the epic flowing descent again. This half day adventure is perfect to pair with an afternoon of Black Stump shuttles. Shuttle from Derby to the Blue Tier trailhead at 9am Ride the first 13km of the Bay of Fires trail Shuttle back up to enjoy the second half of the trail again Return shuttle to Derby Skill Level: Intermediate Fitness: Moderate Departs: Derby Shuttle Notes: The second shuttle will leave from the base of the first 13km at 11:15am to maintain our schedule. Departure Conditions:* Minimum numbers for this service apply. Transfer to other options will be offered if available. *This trail will be closed on days that are Extreme Fire Danger/Total Fire Ban deemed by the Tasmanian Fire Service. This trail will also be closed due to extreme wet weather conditions. Vertigo MTB will exchange shuttle services or day of departure in these circumstances.

Hide The Branxholm trail is the best trail in Derby to earn your first MTB stripes. This 9km ride is fun but gentle, introducing some trail features as you get used to your bike. The Valley Pond and riverside forest that the trail meanders through provide a wow factor with ferns, blackwoods and myrtles along with a chance to spot a platypus. Our friendly shuttle driver provides tips and tricks on the Branxholm Oval before you head off on your ride. Skill Level: Beginner to Novice Fitness: Moderate Departs: Derby

Hazy Days is situated in the Derby network and offers the best slice of green, single track we’ve ever had. Descending berms and flowing sections through stunning terrain of tree fern and dense eucalyptus gullies, all the way back to the shuttle point. Ticket includes up to 4 uplifts each per session.
